Abstract

The paper includes details of the construction and standardization of the Teachers’ Happiness Scale for Teacher Educators. The Teachers’ Happiness Scale consists of 4 dimensions i.e., Physical Health, Emotions, Self-Esteem, and Job Satisfaction. At first, 54 statements were framed by the researcher. It was shown to 9 experts for vetting. Further, in the provisional draft a total of 78 items was prepared based on comments and suggestions by experts. After item analysis, 27 items were excluded. Thus 51 items were finalized for the final draft of the scale. The reliability statistics like Cronbach's Alpha and Spearman-Brown Coefficient were found to be 0.921 and 0.895 respectively. Validity was established by face and content. Norms were developed by the researcher for the scale by preparing the raw scores and their z-scores range.
