Abstract

This study investigates the effects of mental and ideo-motor training on the performance of selected Judo techniques—specifically Ippon Seoi Nage, Harai Goshi, and O Goshi—among athletes from the Gwalior region. Sixty participants were divided into experimental and control groups. Over an 8-week period, data were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics, repeated measures ANOVA, and various post hoc tests. The results indicate significant improvements in the experimental group, particularly in the later stages of training, compared to the control group. The findings highlight the effectiveness of mental and ideo-motor training in enhancing Judo performance.
